Its so fun learning about early America in American literature and U.S. history. You start to see things more extensively than what was first taught in elementary.
Like, how the early southern pioneers chose to live in the uncharted wilderness, rather than populous northern cities, because they wanted to indulge in their more wild and corrupt pleasures without the judgment of their neighbors.

  1. jeysiec said: I remember being amused at learning about Shay’s Rebellion and finding out Western Mass has actually hated Boston ever since before the US was the US. Also American mythology/Tall Tales are the best.
